Be a Care-Giving Day-Maker

Our mission is to be care-giving day-makers, hope-builders, smile-givers, life-changers, community-warriors with the will to make a difference. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our community team and enrich the lives of others.

We are recruiting a minimum of 3 full-time or 6 part-time Care Assistants to provide care and support to people living in Gosforth and Dinnington. If you are the kind of person who can make a positive impact while visiting people in their homes, then a Care Assistant with Be Caring could be the right fit for you.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care that protects people's dignity.
  • Promote independence using enabling approaches.
  • Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
  • Connect people to their communities, accessing local support and services.
  • Deliver personalized care through individual choice and control.
  • Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time.

Requirements
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including late shifts and alternate weekends.
