Job Title: Vendor Manager

At Evri, we're committed to creating responsible delivery experiences for everyone, everywhere. As a Vendor Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting value delivery to the business through effective vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service and support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues and escalations.
  • Oversee the creation, tracking, and management of purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to streamline PO processes and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in negotiating and managing vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure that procurement activities are within budget.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and stakeholders to track and manage budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships and procurement activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, procurement activities, and cost savings for senior management.
Requirements:
  • Degree Level in any related field is advantageous.
  • CIPS Level 4+ (or working towards) is advantageous.
  • Strong Financial Awareness and experience of working within and influencing others to work within budgets and cash flow requirements.
  • Experience developing and executing category plans with support from management.
  • Prior supplier negotiation and contract management experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial levers to influence procurement spend.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering principles and best practice.
  • Awareness of Contracts and Contractual terms from a procurement point of view.
  • Ability to articulate contract terms and conditions to various audiences.
  • Awareness of financial accounting principles for cash flow, savings recognition, and OPEX/CAPEX.
  • Analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
  • Previous accountability for delivering procurement savings targets would be advantageous.
  • Experience within the logistics or retail industry would be advantageous.
