About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Prison Support Worker. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals within the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings to support their rehabilitation and resettlement.
  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance to clients, setting goals and milestones to aid their progress.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to develop skills, secure accommodation, and gain necessary support to secure employment.
  • Operate across multiple locations, including HMP Bullingdon and Bicester and Oxford probation trusts.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals within the criminal justice system, either in a prison or custodial setting.
  • Alternatively, experience supporting vulnerable clients in areas such as mental health, substance abuse, or homelessness.
  • Criminology graduates with volunteer experience are also encouraged to apply.
