Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our team. As a key member of our financial leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth through strategic financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation and review of statutory annual accounts, reconciliations, external returns, and claims for a large portfolio of SME clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their financial needs are met and exceeded.
- Develop and implement financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their success.
- AAT, ACA, ICAEW, or ACCA qualification or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in client and cloud accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting software and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth through strategic financial planning and analysis.
