Causeway Charity is a growing organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals in need. We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to join our board of trustees, responsible for the overall governance, financial health, and strategic direction of our organisation.

As a key member of our team, you will bring expertise in charity accounting and relevant standards. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, maintaining an overview of the charity's financial affairs, ensuring its viability and proper financial records and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an overview of the charity's financial affairs, ensuring its viability and proper financial records and procedures.
• Work closely with the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to deliver the charity's mission.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the charity's goals and objectives.
• Provide expert advice on charity accounting and related matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in charity accounting and financial management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
