About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Civil Engineer to join our team at Hydrock. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from initial conceptualization to completion, focusing on airport infrastructure development. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, collaborating with experts in various fields to deliver high-quality results. Key responsibilities include developing detailed designs, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will also participate in site inspections and progress reporting, providing regular updates to stakeholders. To excel in this position, you will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of design principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will work with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects is desirable, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results under pressure. The salary for this position is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, based on experience.

About You
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need to possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field, with several years of experience in a similar position. You must have a deep understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, PDS, and Civils3D, as well as experience with project management tools. Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and codes, particularly those related to airports, is also essential. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
