About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at HARIBO York Designer Outlet. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process cash and card payments, handle customer transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing, maintaining high standards of retail excellence, and adhering to company standards.
  • Participate in sampling activities, promote products, and engage with customers to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain a positive and supportive team environment, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and card transactions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
