Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to two ladies in their 30s who have autism and learning disabilities. The successful candidate will work in a female-only service, supporting individuals to engage in various activities, build relationships with the local community, and maintain a settled and peaceful home environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encourage and support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and the local community
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure a consistent and high-quality service
Requirements
  • Patience, empathy, and compassion when interacting with individuals with autism and learning disabilities
  • A strong work ethic and reliability in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of autism and learning disabilities, with a willingness to learn and develop skills
