About the Role

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced Regional Clinical Development Nurse to lead our clinical governance and quality of care in eight care homes across the South West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest clinical standards are met and maintained.

Your role will involve analysing clinical governance databases and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implementing practical strategies to address these issues. You will work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to develop and implement action plans to improve clinical standards.

You will also be responsible for supporting the performance of each home and ensuring that all regulations are met. This will involve reviewing clinical governance data and KPIs on a monthly basis and providing recommendations for improvement.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse RN (General) with a current NMC registration and have experience working in a care home environment. You must also have strong leadership skills, analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills.
