Job Title: Head of Surveying Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Surveyor to lead the development and implementation of our Surveying Services proposition across the UK. As Head of Surveying Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the initial development, strategic direction, operational management, and successful delivery of our surveying proposition across various UK sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive surveying services proposition that meets the needs of our clients.
  • Recruit, lead, and manage a team of surveyors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate surveying services into existing Marsh services.
  • Assess project and operational costs associated with different development options.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to surveying services.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients addressing their complex property claims and insurance response needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as surveying, engineering, or a related discipline with RICS or similar professional status.
  • Proven surveying services experience in the insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to insurance surveying services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies.
