Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to clients with varying degrees of deafness, including those who are culturally Deaf
  • Develop and maintain effective communication skills, including British Sign Language (BSL) or a willingness to learn BSL
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health
  • Experience of working in supported living services or residential care services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • BSL skills or willingness to learn
