About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Pro Care Nursing Agency Ltd. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the Cardiff and Vale area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity at all times.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
- Support clients with mobility issues, including transfers and mobility aids.
- Engage in activities that promote mental and physical well-being, such as exercise, hobbies, and social interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and support, including progress notes and medication administration records.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably in a domiciliary care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle, with business use insurance.
- Enhanced DBS clearance and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
