We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Fitter Specialist to join our team at a leading electromechanical engineering manufacturer based in the UK.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Workshop Engineer / Electromechanical Engineer to provide service, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, electric motors, and similar equipment at our workshop near Bristol.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical systems. They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on electromechanical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including repair history and maintenance schedules.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in mechanical fitting, workshop engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent technical skills, with experience working with electromechanical systems.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work accurately and efficiently, with minimal supervision.
