About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Practitioner to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work in our Plaster Room, within the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department.

As an Orthopaedic Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a range of trauma and orthopaedic conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver efficient, holistic, and high-standard care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain skills to undertake the application and removal of plaster casts and splints.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements
  • British Orthopaedic Association Registration.
  • British Casting Certification.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or foundation degree in healthcare or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Specialist Post-Certificate Casting qualifications.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
