Job Title: Delivery Van Driver

Location: Inverness area

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing leading to permanent role

Pay Rate: £13.42 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and collect post/parcels to be delivered from the local delivery office
  • Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and navigate routes
  • Walk at least 8 miles per day and carry a bag weighing up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels
  • Drive and deliver on foot, pushing/pulling a trolley during deliveries

Key Skills:

  • Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points
  • Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
