Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and is looking for a flexible and rewarding role. You will have the chance to work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, i.e., hygiene standards and room preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential, such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, Childminder, or similar.
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • A sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable.
