About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Head Office team. As a key member of our Transactional Shared Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth end-to-end sales process for our organisation.

Your efforts will contribute towards our wider finance strategy and will be an essential part of how we operate our business. This is a fast-paced and forward-thinking position, perfect for someone looking for a long-term finance career within a successful, expanding corporate enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor the end-to-end cash process and investigate any discrepancies.
  2. Import cash processing reports onto SAP on a daily basis.
  3. Communicate and document discrepancy and forgery reports.
  4. Post debtors invoices and credit notes and allocate cash receipts to customer accounts.
  5. Reconcile cash and card GLs on a monthly basis, involving writing off within a certain threshold and investigating outside of that threshold.
  6. Post ad-hoc journals when necessary.
  7. Monitor missing sales, escalate and resolve issues.
  8. Upload fuel sales, shop sales and investigate any variances.
  9. Escalate any issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
  10. Perform bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  11. Sales reconciliation.
  12. General administration and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably in a Shared Services environment.
  • Excellent client and customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • A strong academic record and experience in Finance.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Able to adapt style of communication depending on the audience and the nature of the information being communicated.
