Bookkeeping Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team in Oakley Village, Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with experience in at least one of the following software: Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or Microsoft Office.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the management of financial records, including sales, purchases, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and payroll/CIS. A good understanding of VAT is essential, and excellent attention to detail is required.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £18,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position involves 20-35 hours per week, spread over 3-5 days, with potential for additional hours as the business grows.
