About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for leading a team of customs and freight forwarding professionals, communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of customs and freight forwarding professionals, providing support to management, motivating the team, and supporting their development.
- Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints.
- Deliver the operational day-to-day management of the Customs and Freight Forwarding team.
- Assist the Customs Manager with internal and external training.
- Ensure company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and support team members.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
