Job Description

As a Motoring Services Team Leader at Halfords, you'll be responsible for providing productive management and leadership, driving profitability, with a firm focus on the customer journey. You'll work alongside the Centre Manager to achieve this goal. Ideally, you will have had previous hands-on experience as a mechanic, which will enable you to divide your time between the workshop and assisting the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £29,000 to £34,000 per annum, plus an average uncapped bonus of £7,100 per year. Other benefits include 5.6 weeks' annual leave, up to 50% off garage bills in our Autocentres, and discounts on various products and services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high customer satisfaction through effective management.
  • Capturing coaching and training opportunities to develop colleagues' skills.
  • Maintaining technical/mechanical abilities or experience.
  • Meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety.
