Job Overview

Bridges Electrical Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our team of electricians on various frameworks across the Thames Valley region for Thames Water.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure high-quality installations, adhering to project quality plans and inspection and test plans
  • Implement and promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment, stopping work if unsafe circumstances arise
  • Coach and mentor electricians, electrical improvers/mates, and apprentices
  • Promote Bridges' values and maintain a positive reputation
  • Act as a professional ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining a positive reputation

Requirements

  • ECS Gold Card (essential)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification (where applicable)
  • Experience in the water/waste water industry
  • Experience supervising a small team on installations
  • Emergency first aid or first aider certification
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures
  • Full UK driving license

Desirable Qualifications

  • CCNSG and EUSR
  • Ability to write simple risk assessments
