Location: East Midlands

Salary: £68,500 - £75,500 per annum

Contract: Full time, Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Education to lead our team of educators and support staff. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence and ensuring that our students receive a world-class education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage: Our team of educators and support staff to ensure high standards of learning and achievement.
  • Develop and Implement: Educational policies and strategies to drive academic excellence and improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our students receive a comprehensive and supportive education.
  • Monitor and Evaluate: Student progress and academic achievement to inform teaching and learning practices.
  • Develop and Maintain: Strong relationships with local and national education authorities to ensure that our school remains at the forefront of educational innovation.

Requirements:

  • Headteacher/Senior Leadership Qualification: NPQH is essential for this role.
  • UK Teaching Qualification: QTS/QTLS (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent).
  • Experience Working with SEN/SEMH Students: Prior experience working with students with special educational needs and/or SEMH would be desirable.
  • Senior Leadership Experience: Previous experience working in a senior leadership position (Assistant Head, Deputy Head, etc.) is essential.
  • Masters Degree in Educational Leadership: A Masters degree in Educational Leadership is desirable, but not essential.
