Taxation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our esteemed partner, a highly regarded accountancy practice based in Grays. As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in managing a significant portfolio of personal tax returns and other ad hoc tax advice for clients.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, and other tax filings prepared by the team, ensuring all submissions are accurate and compliant.">
• Providing expert tax planning advice to clients, helping them navigate tax changes and optimize their tax efficiency.">
• Building strong relationships with clients through regular meetings, visits, and communication.">
• Staying up-to-date with tax legislation and regulations, applying this knowledge to drive compliance and risk management.">
• Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to mitigate risks and enhance client value.">
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to drive business growth and improve tax services.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in tax within a practice environment.">
• An excellent understanding of personal tax and corporate tax principles.">
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.">
• A professional qualification, such as QBE, ACCA, ACA, FCCA, ICAEW, or CTA.">
