About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Section Engineer to join our team on the Long Itchington Wood tunnelling project. As a key member of our Cross Passages team, you will be responsible for managing a section of works and team comprising Site Engineers, focusing on SCL and Concrete activities for the construction of Tunnels and cross passages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with designers to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Understand cost and value implications of engineering decisions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Draft correspondence to sub-contractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Take ownership of tasks and communicate outcomes with clarity, including managing others in this regard.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision, to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering experience in SCL and Tunnels, with a strong understanding of large RC structures.
  • Valid CSCS card and UK driving license.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or similar, with a strong academic record.
