About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine to join our dynamic team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our General Medicine service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in Acute Medicine, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of our team, sharing your expertise and knowledge to improve patient care and services.
  • Participate in clinical governance and audit activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Engage in teaching and training activities, supporting the development of junior doctors and medical students.

Requirements

  • Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice.
  • Valid Certified Advanced Life Support Skills.
  • MRCP.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant Higher Degree (MD; PhD; MSc).
  • On Specialist Register with GMC or CCT due within 6 months of interview date.
  • Or CESR or equivalent European.
