Business Systems Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Technician to join our growing IT Team in Coventry. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the management and administration of IT Business Systems, including identifying improvements, development, support, and assistance to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design and development of test scripts, participating in full regression testing for key business systems and other associated IT systems.
  • Develop knowledge of main business systems, including ERP and MES, and support day-to-day activities, including administration and basic development.
  • Monitor end-user system performance, report issues, and maintain communications to ensure appropriate resolution.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Good IT skills, with experience in supporting business applications.
  • Ability to prioritise and analyse data with attention to detail, identifying associated trends and root cause of issues.
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server and ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving ability, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
