About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Relief Early Years Assistant to join our team in an environment that provides a programme of play, care and education for 2-5 year olds with significant developmental delay.

This is a term-time role, working on an as-needed basis. You will work alongside our multi-disciplinary team, other professionals, and Family Support team to offer care and learning through play and therapy opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a stimulating environment to support the children's development and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Contribute to the delivery of activities and therapies tailored to individual needs.

Requirements:

  • A Childcare qualification at QCF Level 2 or equivalent in Child Care, Learning and Development, or Play-work.
  • Knowledge of Child development and age-appropriate activities.
  • A minimum of 1 year working/lived experience with children aged 0-4 and their families.

What We Offer:

  • £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing to 35 days with long service.
