Job Summary

The Deputy Head of Nursing will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to patients in our communities. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of community nursing programs, as well as uphold our standards of care within our community nursing teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community nursing programs that meet the needs of patients and their families.
  • Lead and manage a team of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Palliative Specialist Nurses, and Hospice at Home Team Leaders.
  • Ensure uniformity of nursing care across all community services and equity of access to nursing care for all patients.
  • Provide clinical supervision and reflective practice to team members.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continual learning and professional development within the team.
