Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join our team at Granville Lodge, a 9-bedded children's home in Hartlepool. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the running of the home, ensuring that all quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead the team in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people
  • Ensure that all quality standards are maintained and that the home is a safe and welcoming environment for all
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child and young person
  • Work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure that the needs of the children and young people are met
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working in a children's home setting, ideally within a Learning Disabilities/PMLD environment
  • Understanding of Children's Homes Quality Standards
  • Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or Children's Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Experience of leading, coaching, and mentoring a team
  • Competent IT skills, mainly MS Office
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
