Key Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading pharmaceutical facility. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility's production, laboratory, and wider engineering requirements.

This is a hands-on role that requires a "can do" approach, with a focus on reactive and planned maintenance. You will work closely with the team to identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with GMP regulations.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of GMP and multi-skilled engineering capabilities. You will also have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to be hands-on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, working closely with the team to ensure minimal downtime
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure compliance with GMP regulations
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of GMP and multi-skilled engineering capabilities
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to be hands-on
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
