Job Title: Senior Field Service Engineer

Rubicon Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of commercial biomass heating installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on commercial heating systems, including pumps, control valves, and pressurisation units.
  2. Transition into the biomass sector by attending training courses and on-site learning workshops.
  3. Respond promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures, diagnosing issues and implementing repairs using your engineering experience.
  4. Conduct servicing tasks to a high standard, ensuring legislative and contractual compliance.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all work performed on site, using company-provided software.
  6. Provide excellent customer service, integrating with client representatives and building strong relationships.
Requirements:
  1. SNVQ (or equivalent) in Commercial Plumbing & Heating and/or Electrical Installation.
  2. Valid Driving License.
  3. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related industry.
  4. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and heating principles.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnostics.
  6. Proficient in the use of hand tools and trade-specific equipment.
  7. Background in commercial heating systems, with experience in on-site, hands-on work.
  8. Additional certifications related to heating, plumbing, or electrical disciplines.
