Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Lawyer to join our Investment Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and experience working on cross-border transactions. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal support and advice to our investment group members on all aspects of real estate transactions in Europe and across all real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and monitor the negotiations of all documents related to the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of real estate projects.
• Instruct and monitor outside counsel on legal due diligence and negotiation of contractual documentation.
• Participate in meetings and communicate with internal investment, portfolio company, asset management, fund compliance, financing, and development teams.
• Supervise performance of outside counsel ensuring that costs are kept to a minimum and core information is maintained internally.

Requirements

• 4-6 years' PQE experience at a major law firm, real estate law acting for private equity sponsors or corporate law acting on private equity real estate transactions.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills.
• Pragmatic, pro-active, and organized.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a number of matters at once.
• Strong team player and effective communicator, with good business acumen.
• Experience working on cross-border or multi-jurisdictional transactions.
