About the Role
We are seeking a talented Street Lighting Designer to join our team at E.ON.
Key Responsibilities
As a Street Lighting Designer, you will be responsible for designing external lighting solutions and street lighting projects that meet both technical specifications and commercial requirements.
- Designing external lighting solutions and street lighting projects.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant technical and commercial standards.
- Crafting solutions using standard and non-standard design principles.
- Supporting Street Lighting PFI projects and existing customers.
- Examining design options to optimize effectiveness.
- Meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Providing technical support to the Lighting and Grid team.
- Adhering to company policies and safety standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical qualification e.g. ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma.
- Demonstrated experience in a design environment with a pro-active and creative approach to problem solving.
- In-depth knowledge of street lighting design requirements with experience of working with 3rd party sub-contract agreements and strong financial and commercial awareness.
- Good oral and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with a confident and diplomatic approach.
- Working knowledge of mainframe and PC-based computer systems associated with lighting and network cable design.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £44,199 - £56,113 plus excellent benefits, including 26 days holiday + bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, life cover, bonus, and the chance to choose from 20 flexible benefits with tax and/or NI savings.
