Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Airport Facility Technical Lead to join our team at Amazon. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups focused on designing, developing, and executing airport infrastructure projects. This includes maintaining Amazon airport facilities, developing facility maintenance and site master plans, managing Amazon tenant oversight, and supporting Amazon on-airport property development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep working partnerships with execution teams in North America (NA) Design & Construction, Global Engineering Services, Asset Management, Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME), Airport Affairs, and ground operations leadership
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance for internal teams on regulatory and technical matters related to on-airfield project management, design, and construction
  • In partnership with execution teams and senior AIR leadership, lead efforts to develop long-range site master plans for all AIR NA Hub and Regional Air Hub sites
  • Create and implement standard procedures for facility management in Amazon controlled, 3P operated airport facilities
  • Engage with airports, landlords, and subtenants on construction and facility matters as needed
  • Facilitate transitions during cargo facility operator changes, onboarding, and offboarding of assets
  • Facilitate preparation and presentation of airport construction and facility modification project updates to senior AIR leadership including cost, entitlements, permitting, approvals, and overall project health

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience in real-estate development, construction, architecture, or facility management
  • 3+ years of on-airport development, construction, design, or facility management
  • Strong knowledge of airport regulatory environment and airport development/construction best practices
  • Ability to understand & communicate construction, design, building mechanical, airport, and other technical requirements

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

The estimated salary range is based on industry standards and the level of experience required for this role.
