About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrator to join our team at Alnwick Medical Group. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clinical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including scanning and coding patient records, managing medical records, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information.
  • Assist with the preparation of patient letters, reports, and other documents as required.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including scanning and coding patient information.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed.

Requirements

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • NVQ (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Basic IT skills, including experience with medical records systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
