Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our production lines, maintaining high levels of reliability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Reliability Management: Create and implement R&M schedules using LEAN principles to ensure the smooth running of all production lines. Oversee budgets and Capex projects related to equipment upgrades or replacement where necessary. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- People Management: Manage teams ranging from engineers through technicians who operate on different shifts. Provide technical leadership towards continuous improvement initiatives targeting safety, quality assurance standards, and productivity targets.
- Electrical Automation Skills: Ensure that all electrical automation systems are maintained to the highest standards and that any faults are quickly identified and rectified.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: HNC / HND / C&G / Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Electrical / Control System Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience performing similar roles or responsibilities, and knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written English language proficiency.
