Audit and Accounts Senior Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to join our corporate services department at our Banbury office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and accounts, with a minimum of three years' experience gained within UK practice. They will be responsible for preparing client accounts, tax computations, and other financial documents, as well as assisting with client queries and providing on-the-job coaching to trainees.

The successful candidate will have strong IT skills, preferably with experience of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Mercia, or CCH. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare client accounts, tax computations, and other financial documents
  • Assist with client queries and provide on-the-job coaching to trainees
  • Monitor own job quality and quantity, and record chargeable time
  • Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information for their accounts
  • Support trainees by providing on-the-job coaching and supervision of their work
Requirements:
  • At least three years' audit and accounts experience gained within UK practice
  • Ability to prepare, conduct, and supervise audits, prepare client accounts, tax, PAYE, or VAT quickly and efficiently
  • Strong IT skills, preferably with experience of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Mercia, or CCH
