The specific duties of the Production Planner include:

  • Creating and executing production plans that align with site SIOP strategies
  • Capacity planning activities
  • Utilizing SAP for planning, data validation, report creation, and review
  • Analyzing and manipulating data in MS Excel
  • Advising procurement on risks to production plans and mitigating these risks
  • Monitoring and analyzing inventory levels
  • Process improvement work to support improved efficiencies within supply chain SOPs

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Production planning, supply planning, materials planning, or scheduling experience
  • MRP/ERP experience, with SAP experience preferred and exposure to the PP module a bonus
  • Strong analytical skills
  • An appreciation of LEAN inventory management, SIOP, capacity planning, and forecasting techniques
  • Motivation and a self-starter attitude
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
