As a Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for both new and existing service users and care workers, handling initial enquiries, rostering staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to service users and their families, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Roster care workers to ensure a safe and efficient delivery of care services, taking into account the needs of service users and the availability of care workers.
- Liaise with other professionals involved in service users' care, including healthcare professionals and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Assist with the recruitment and induction of new care workers, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care services.
- Monitor care workers' performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to support their development and improvement.
- Support the effective handling of safeguarding, incidents, and complaints, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that the service is working within the standards expected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), maintaining high levels of quality and compliance.
- A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with service users, care workers, and other stakeholders.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to cope with changing demands and priorities, remaining calm under pressure.
- Well-organized and able to multitask, with a strong focus on teamwork and the ability to work independently and apply initiative.
- A positive and focused attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care services and exceeding targets.
