About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Casual Recovery Worker at Waythrough. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs and/or autism to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with individuals to develop a personal support plan that addresses their goals and aspirations
- Provide support and guidance to help individuals develop domestic and finance management skills
- Assist individuals in accessing work, leisure, or educational opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide person-centred services
Requirements
- No relevant experience is required, as full training will be provided
- Candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience are welcomed
- A caring and compassionate nature, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping others are essential
