Technical Trainer Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to join our team at Speedy Hire. As a Technical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical training to our customers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate our equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for our customers
  • Provide expert guidance and support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Collaborate with our inspection team to ensure training meets industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in lifting and materials handling
  • Contribute to the development of new training courses and materials
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in lifting and materials handling
  • National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) or Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register (ITSSAR) instructor accreditations are desirable
  • IPAF Instructor, PASMA Instructor, NPORS Instructor, ITSSAR Instructor
  • Equipment Regulations (LOLER), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), The Health and Safety at Work Act, BS 7121
  • Ability to support our business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver
