Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at The Recruitment Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure compliance deadlines are met
  • Prepare financial reports, including accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax returns
  • Review work completed by junior team members
  • Bookkeeping for clients using Free Agent, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Train junior team members
  • Deal with client communications, both written and verbal
  • Process payroll for clients
  • Cover for colleagues during illness or holidays

Requirements:

  • Working towards an accounting qualification or qualified by experience
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Commitment to getting it right first time
  • Ability to deal with clients and colleagues with empathy
  • Develop self through CPD and relevant training
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems and software
  • Strong organisation and analytical skills
