Job Overview

As a Physiotherapist Clinical Assessor at Maximus, you will utilize your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition impacts their daily life. This challenging yet rewarding role requires empathy and experience in assessing complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to comprehend the effects of a person's disability or health condition on their daily activities.
  • Produce detailed Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to aid the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining an individual's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with ongoing feedback and supervision.

Requirements
  • A valid HCPC registration number is mandatory.
  • You must have at least one year of post-registration experience gained within or outside the NHS.
  • You are required to have the right to work in the UK – sponsorships are not offered.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • You should be comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
