At GB001 Marsh Ltd, our Marsh North American casualty team handles a diverse range of primary and excess casualty placements for North American domiciled clients. Working closely with our Marsh retail colleague network, the team engages the market to find innovative solutions for clients' casualty insurance needs. We prioritize client service, coverage, and data-driven innovation and product development, serving clients across various business sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review clients' exposures and loss experience, developing solutions for client individual needs using knowledge of Casualty Insurance and the insurance market.
- Deliver renewal and placement strategies, working closely with colleagues.
- Negotiate with Lloyds and London market insurers to deliver placement.
- Understand clients' business strategic priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs, providing advice to successfully serve the client and develop relevant products.
- Work with the team to seek growth opportunities and win new business.
- Assist in presentations to prospective clients, suggesting innovative solutions to clients and colleagues to gain new clients and projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day service needs.
Requirements:
- Casualty Insurance knowledge from a broker or underwriter background.
- Client and Market facing experience.
- Excellent communication skills – both written (tenders, reports, presentations) and verbal (client meetings, colleague meetings, and delivery of tenders and presentations).
- Proven organisation abilities and ability to multi-task.
- Diligence, accuracy, and ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.
