Job Overview
We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our client's Powered Access department in a workshop environment. This role will involve pre-hire inspections and minor repairs on a wide range of powered access equipment.
About the Role
This Assembly Technician position is a Monday to Friday based opportunity, located near Hungerford, with a salary ranging from £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. As an experienced technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all machinery meets the company's high standards and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing pre-delivery inspections and minor repairs on powered access equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
- Ensuring all machinery is prepared to meet company standards
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines to meet company standards
- Completing paperwork and time sheets efficiently
- Working collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Providing technical support
Requirements
To be successful in this Assembly Technician role, you will need:
- Experience with plant or powered access machinery
- An engineering background
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A willingness to learn and develop
- A strong understanding of health and safety practices
