Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Anatomical Pathology Technologist. As a key member of our mortuary service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional mortuary services, including the release and receipt of deceased individuals and organizing viewings for relatives.
  • Assist in technical procedures related to post-mortem examinations, covering a range of cases, including adults, road traffic accident victims, and suspicious deaths.
  • Liaise with staff, Coroner's officers, funeral directors, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work towards gaining qualifications that will lead to attaining the level 3 Diploma and then level 4 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology awarded by the Royal Institute of Public Health.
