HGV Service and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Service and Repair Specialist to join our team at Auto Skills UK. As an integral part of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out thorough vehicle inspections and repairs in line with the 'O' licence requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify any defects or required repairs
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including servicing and MOT preparation
  • Fault finding and diagnostics to diagnose and rectify any issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating databases as required

In addition to your technical skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential to ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues and customers. If you possess a strong passion for vehicle maintenance and repair, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of truck and trailer maintenance
  • Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship
  • A commercial driving license is advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, maintenance and repair

Financial Package: £44,500 - £48,000 per annum
