Job Type: Temporary, 3 months

Location: Manchester

Rate/Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per year

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Adele Carr Recruitment. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger and daily bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase aged debt from customers, ensuring invoices have been sent and/or uploaded to customer portals
  • Perform all sales ledger functions, including setting up new accounts in line with policy and general housekeeping
  • Manage UK insurance cover
  • Produce daily bank reconciliation, including the posting of all authorised direct debits, standing orders, and bank charges
  • BACS receipts to the relevant ledgers
  • Support the purchase ledger function, including processing of invoices where necessary

Requirements:

  • Confident in credit control activities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in a busy Accounts department
