Marketing Manager Job Summary



The Alice Paul Institute is seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to help expand its outreach and promote its programs to the general public, schools, and community partners. The successful candidate will have experience in creating and implementing marketing plans, overseeing print and digital communications, and managing social media and websites.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase awareness and engagement with the organization's programs and services
  • Manage and maintain the organization's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring analytics
  • Oversee the development and implementation of email marketing campaigns, including creating content, designing newsletters, and sending targeted communications
  • Collaborate with program staff to develop marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and posters, to promote programs and services
  • Manage and maintain the organization's website, including updating content, designing new pages, and ensuring accessibility and usability
  • Assist with event planning and execution, including marketing and promotion of events, registration management, and event evaluation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders, to promote programs and services
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on marketing and social media tools and platforms


Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a non-profit setting
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to write compelling content and present information effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect and analyze data to inform marketing decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and website content management systems
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
