Cathay Care Home is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Located in the picturesque countryside of Moray, our purpose-built care home offers a supportive and inclusive environment for our residents.

As a key member of our care team, you'll assist residents with daily tasks, promote independence, and prioritize their overall well-being. With a strong focus on personalized care, we encourage our residents to make positive choices and maintain their dignity and respect.

Responsibilities:

• • Daily Routines: Assist residents with morning and evening routines, including dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom.

• • Health Monitoring: Keep track of residents' health, reporting any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager.

• • Personalized Care: Follow and support each resident's personalized care plan, providing tailored assistance and attention.

• • Social Interactions: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, fostering a warm and welcoming community.

• • Safety and Comfort: Maintain a safe and comfortable environment, responding promptly to emergencies or call bells.

• • Nutritional Support: Assist residents with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

About You:
You're ideal for this role if you possess SVQ Level 2 qualifications in Health & Social Care, have at least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, and demonstrate passion, integrity, respect, and teamwork. We offer a competitive salary of £12.10 per hour, along with benefits such as pension, onsite parking, paid PVG, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave.
